Core’s owner, ex lawyer and broadcast presenter, Daniel Wee enjoys telling stories. While a lawyer, he aimed at helping balance between right and wrong, mercy and justice.

As a writer, Daniel focuses at telling stories interestingly, whether through word or picture, event or sound with his team.

Confucius said that when you choose a job you love, you will never have to work a day in your life. Thus, Daniel considers himself a professional bum – he has never worked.

Ever since Core’s start in 1999, ex-jeweller, Paul Ang who ensures the smooth running of business, has helped Daniel in his quest on not working.

Paul and Daniel studied at an “elite” school atop a hill overlooking a canal. Daniel calls the canal, “Big Longkang” or “Big Drain”, much to its alumni’s annoyance.
